1: Chapter 1 Yellow Wind Immortal

Eight hundred miles of Yellow Wind Ridge.

There is a song that goes:

Mountain winds howl, carrying yellow sand; tiger monsters and demonic wolves hide within the forest.

Here, cliffs are steep, ravines are deep, and caves are secluded.

Inside a cave dwelling, one can see flickering lamplight and swirling demonic mist.

A crowd of minor demons sits around drinking, the tables in disarray, creating quite a lively scene.

At the head of the table, various snake-kin have revealed their true forms, intertwining and constantly coiling around a thick, robust King Chihui in the center, engaged in carnal acts.

To the side, a large pot emitting steam is set up.

An elderly demon with a human body and a dog's head, eyes dim with age, is flipping through a "Two-Legged Sheep Cookbook."

Not far away, several "two-legged sheep" are tied behind their backs with thick vines, their spines chilling and bodies trembling, not daring to make a single sound.

"Then gut them and steam them for eating. The pair of balls between their legs will make a nourishing soup for the King."

The dog demon put down the cookbook, looked at the two-legged sheep in front of it, chuckled, and stepped forward with a knife.

Whoosh!

But the next moment.

A sudden gust of wind swept through the demon cave.

A beam of cold white light suddenly exploded. Before the old, dim-sighted dog could react, most of its body was pierced through by the arrow's energy and slammed hard against the stone wall.

With a loud boom, the cave dwelling exploded into chaos.

From outside the demon cave, waves of wailing from minor demons could be heard one after another, descending into total disorder.

"Who dares to invade my Chilian Cave!"

King Chihui, having his interest interrupted, manifested a human form—a burly man with an ugly face—and immediately roared in the direction of the cave entrance.

A figure slowly stepped in from the entrance and landed in the main hall of the demon cave.

The figure was dressed in a grey cloth warrior's outfit, his face covered with faint gold patterns. He held a long spear in his hand, carried a long bow and quiver on his back, and had a slender build with sharp, piercing eyes.

Upon confirming the unmistakable demonic aura on the opponent, King Chihui let out a sigh of relief.

"I wonder where this gentleman comes from, what advice you have, and why you wish to invade my Chilian Cave?"

"Chilian Cave?"

Huang Shuo smiled.

This cave dwelling was originally the old nest of his ancestors, known as Huangfeng Cave.

Huang Shuo was a reincarnated person.

In his previous life, he was human, but he woke up one day to find himself a mouse.

Fortunately, his bloodline was unique; he cultivated into a spirit monster and, relying on the accumulation of his ancestors, occupied Huangfeng Cave to become the Mouse King.

However, good times do not last.

One day, the various Buddhas of Mount Lingshan mobilized to sweep through the mountains and eliminate demons.

Huang Shuo narrowly escaped death, luckily fleeing underground to survive the disaster. Later, through a stroke of fate, he obtained an opportunity and went into seclusion for five years.

Just after coming out of seclusion, Huang Shuo intended to return to Huangfeng Cave.

Unexpectedly, Huangfeng Cave had been occupied by the King Chihui before him, and even renamed to Chilian Cave.

Huang Shuo glanced at the several "two-legged sheep" tied up not far away.

"Are these people from the villages down the mountain?"

"That is natural."

"Could it be that you are also interested, gentleman?"

"No matter, you may eat and drink with me."

King Chihui could not see through Huang Shuo's background, so he had the intention to befriend him, assuming the other party was also interested in the "two-legged sheep," and thus laughed heartily.

"These few two-legged sheep are the last ones from the nearby villages. If you want to eat more, it won't be easy..."

The implication being.

The people from the villages had all been eaten.

"Then you deserve to die!"

Huang Shuo scanned the area and said coldly.

"You arrogant gentleman, do you really think I am a vegetarian!"

Seeing Huang Shuo show no respect repeatedly, King Chihui was shocked and furious.

Since there was no room for negotiation, he couldn't be bothered to waste more breath. With a flip of his right hand, a snake-tooth fork emitting a dark blue, cold light was suddenly in his palm.

The body of the fork coiled like a spirit snake, and the two sharp prongs at the head were as sharp as viper fangs, emitting a faint, poisonous glow.

"Die!"

King Chihui roared, his figure pouncing out like an arrow released from a bowstring. The snake-tooth fork, carrying a whistling, fishy wind, stabbed directly at Huang Shuo's heart.

Huang Shuo naturally did not yield, fighting King Chihui with his steel spear.

For a time, only the sound of clashing metal could be heard continuously.

The two demons fought and grappled, creating waves of demonic wind and endless ripples of energy.

But at this moment.

King Chihui swept and hacked with the snake-tooth fork. As the shadows of the fork flew, he suddenly opened his mouth, a hiss emitting from his throat, and a mass of crimson poisonous mist spewed out.

The mist, carrying a pungent, putrid stench, caused white smoke to sizzle upon touching the stone walls, and stone debris fell off, showing the intensity of its toxicity.

"A petty trick."

Huang Shuo snorted coldly, formed a seal with his left hand, and exhaled a gust of Yellow Wind.

The Yellow Wind surged, actually blowing the billowing poisonous mist right back.

"Ah..."

"Ah!"

King Chihui was naturally not afraid of his own poisonous mist, but those minor demons were in trouble.

Hit by the poisonous mist carried by the Yellow Wind, their bodies rotted, and they turned into pus amidst screams.

Meanwhile.

Huang Shuo's movements were agile, rushing like lightning. His spear, carrying whistling wind energy, struck directly at King Chihui's vital seven-inch spot.

King Chihui was greatly alarmed and hurriedly twisted his waist. As he hastily blocked with the snake-tooth fork, his arm was numbed by the force of the long spear, causing him to retreat several steps, with gravel falling beneath his feet.

After several exchanges, King Chihui felt his blood churning throughout his body, and his demonic power was being heavily depleted.

Huang Shuo's spear technique was as agile as the wind, controlling the enemy with every move, and with the added support of the Yellow Wind, it seemed to naturally suppress King Chihui's poisonous mist.

Furthermore, the offensive of the snake-tooth fork was completely neutralized, so after repeated battles, he had already fallen into a disadvantage.

A trace of fear flashed in King Chihui's eyes, then replaced by ferocity as he roared at the surviving minor demons:

"All demons, heed my command, attack together!"

Hearing this, the remaining demon crowd turned red-eyed, raising knives, axes, bone forks, stone hammers, and other weapons as they swarmed forward, roaring and pouncing toward Huang Shuo.

"Hmph!"

Huang Shuo was not panicked in the slightest; his spear moved with broad and powerful strokes, as if sweeping through an entire army.

Among the minor demons, some were smashed against the cave wall, their brains splattering; some had their throats pierced by the spear tip and died on the spot; others were caught by the wind energy and thrown hard onto the ground.

Bones broke, and wails and screams rose one after another.

In just a few short rounds, the crowd of minor demons was dead or injured, proving they were no match for even one strike.

Seeing that the minor demons were vulnerable, King Chihui was completely panicked and turned to flee at the first opportunity.

His figure flickered, and he was about to transform into his true form to escape.

How could Huang Shuo give him a chance? His eyes turned cold, the wind beneath his feet surged, and his figure chased after him like a phantom.

The long spear in his hand smashed down heavily.

With a "crack," Huang Shuo's spear had already smashed hard onto King Chihui's back.

King Chihui let out a miserable scream, a mouthful of black blood spewing out, and he staggered and fell to the ground, not even having time to complete his transformation.

The look in his eyes when he looked at Huang Shuo was filled with terror.

"Gentleman, spare..."

Bang!

Before King Chihui could finish pleading for mercy, Huang Shuo's spear smashed down again, directly shattering King Chihui's head.

As dark blue blood and brains splattered everywhere, King Chihui's demon body twitched a few times before it completely stopped moving.

After resolving this nest of demons, Huang Shuo walked up to those few "two-legged sheep."

The "two-legged sheep" were trembling, clearly scared out of their wits.

They had all seen how Huang Shuo had unleashed his ferocious power earlier.

"You may go."

After untying them, Huang Shuo said indifferently.

The "two-legged sheep" were stunned, feeling completely confused.

This demon actually wanted to let them go?

"Wait..."

An elderly man seemed to have thought of something, his eyes filled with tears, looking at Huang Shuo with immense excitement,

"Are you... Great Immortal Huangfeng?!"
