Chapter 9 Demon Clone

Five burly Big Goblins coordinated with each other, wielding shield-broadswords and chain hammers.

Coupled with considerable brute strength, they were capable of both offense and defense.

To a certain extent, this restricted the performance of this Elf, whose strength lay in technical skill.

Or rather, even if she took just a slight hit from the enemy, she might suffer significant injury.

Elena frowned slightly.

She leaped backward into the air, narrowly dodging a heavy hammer strike from a Big Goblin.

Beneath her cloak, the girl's exquisite beauty flashed by for an instant.

Her silver-white boots, engraved with floral and avian patterns, stepped elegantly onto the head of some unlucky ordinary Goblin.

A rapier, ghost-like, swept past; as she departed, the creature clutched its throat and collapsed, dead.

On the altar not far away, the Goblin Priest's incantations grew increasingly fervent.

The light of the red magic circle emerging on the ground grew brighter, and a mysterious smell of blood and an ominous aura quietly permeated the air.

Although she did not know what these magic incantations were for, even a fool would understand that they could not be allowed to complete them easily.

Otherwise, heaven knows what would happen!

Elena seized the only opportunity, darting and maneuvering, slashing out several sharp wind blades with her rapier.

Unfortunately, these attacks were neutralized by a magic barrier the Goblin Priest had set up at some unknown moment before they could even reach it.

Subsequently, the five Big Goblins stood before the Goblin Priest like an airtight wall.

Around them, a group of ordinary Goblins wielding spiked clubs and fearing no death were closing in step by step.

That 'hehehe' strange laughter made one's heart feel irritated.

Some Goblins even openly performed lewd pelvic thrusting gestures.

"Damn it!"

Even an Elf like Elena, who was known for her elegance, could not help but curse under her breath.

Pfftβ€”

Suddenly, for some unknown reason, a pale purple mist began to permeate the scene.

And those ordinary Goblins, like harvested wheat, began to fall in droves just by accidentally inhaling a little of the mist.

Elena's beautiful eyes narrowed slightly, and she instinctively covered her mouth and nose.

At this moment, she heard a man's voice coming from somewhere unknown.

"Get out of the way!"

Elena's pointed elf ears twitched slightly, causing the small emerald earring she was wearing to sway.

After hesitating for only a moment, she made her decision.

The girl tapped her toes lightly and, with the help of a light breeze, easily flashed to a high tree trunk nearby.

Bang bang bangβ€”

Mu An opened fire.

A faint flash of light flickered from the muzzle of the [magic desert eagle].

But the special magic bullets it fired were enough to instantly kill any magical creature below Rank 50.

Because the attack distance was a bit far this time, Mu An was not confident that he could hit 100% of the time.

So he fired several shots in a row, relying... purely on luck within a certain range.

Anyway, as long as the magic bullets grazed the Big Goblins, they could not escape the fate of death.

In fact, that was exactly what happened.

The five Big Goblins looked around in bewilderment at the ordinary Goblins who had suddenly fallen.

With their intelligence, they could not figure out what had happened for the moment.

Afterward, an attack from an unknown source blew apart the chest of one Big Goblin.

Not only did it leave a bloody wound that went straight through, looking terrifyingly gruesome, but it also directly emptied its HP.

The massive body crashed to the ground, incidentally crushing several unlucky ordinary Goblins nearby.

The other Big Goblins were panicked and tried to block with their shields, but unfortunately, it was still to no avail.

Each special magic bullet was like the scythe of the Grim Reaper.

Whizzing through the air, the supposedly sturdy shields were as good as non-existent and were instantly pierced.

The Big Goblins hiding behind them also fell one after another, dying without even understanding why!

Even the Rank 54 Goblin Priest hiding behind the magic barrier suffered significant injuries in this hail of gunfire.

The arm holding the scepter was blown off, almost interrupting the magic it was performing!

As Elena watched all this, her beautiful eyes narrowed, clearly deeply shocked.

She kept wondering in her heart what kind of alchemy tool could have such power.

If that person hadn't told her to leave in advance, or if she had hesitated a little longer at that time.

Would she have also died instantly just like those Big Goblins?

After all.

A thing that could easily kill a Rank 45 Big Goblin would also, in all likelihood, be able to easily kill her, a Rank 49!

Dread!

Deep dread!

This was what was on Elena's mind right now.

On the other side.

"You have killed 5 Rank 45 Big Goblins while being a lower Rank, gaining a total of [EXP + 80,000]!"

"Your Rank has increased (Rank 13 β†’ Rank 25), All Attribute Points +34, Free Attribute Points +34!"

Having successfully reaped the five Big Goblins as expected, Mu An felt a little regretful that he hadn't killed the Goblin Priest as well.

Don't look at the [magic desert eagle] as only being able to instantly kill magical creatures below Rank 50.

But that doesn't mean it can't cause damage to magical creatures above Rank 50.

In fact, its property of ignoring physical and magic defenses alone is enough to make countless magical creatures fear it.

How does that saying go?

In front of certain weapons that are as eternal as heaven and earth, you and your cover are equally laughable.

To a certain extent, this saying also applies to this gun.

Boom!

The ground suddenly shook violently.

The light of the red magic circle flared, as thick as viscous blood flowing out from Hell.

The Goblin Priest knelt on the ground, laughing wildly with a look of madness on its face, making a gesture of embracing the sky.

The flesh and blood of its body were also gradually disappearing at an extremely eerie speed...

"Quickly stop it!"

Elena seemed to have realized something and hurriedly shouted.

While speaking, she had already rushed out.

Actually, there was no need for Elena to say much; looking at the huge, terrifying claw slowly extending from the red magic circle, Mu An was already prepared to act.

Because according to the [Enemy Detection Radar] detection...

Demon Brewster - Lardilia (Clone)

Race: Demon Race

Rank: Rank 200

Basic Information: Don't be fooled by the fact that it's just a Clone; without a doubt, crushing you to death would be as simple as crushing an ant.

β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”

"Who is calling the great Demon Brewster..."

A sharp, clown-like voice rang out, as if enhanced by some special mental magic, shaking one's heart and mind.

Even though only one claw had appeared in the magic circle so far, the overwhelming pressure it emitted was already suffocating.

Elena swung the rapier in her hand, and the emerald embedded in the center of the hilt burst forth with powerful magic fluctuations.

The next instant, countless wind blades, at least two meters long, attacked it like a violent storm.

Unfortunately, these attacks hitting that terrifying giant claw were like tickling it.

They didn't even break through the opponent's defense!

Mu An also used [Lv0. Stealth] to accelerate his entry speed.

Aiming at close range, he fired several shots in succession, with special magic bullets pouring out frantically as if they were free.

Unlike Elena's panic and helplessness, Mu An's eyes were filled with a burning gaze for killing the 'prey'.

[Guys, who understands?]

[Imagine how much of a boost I could get if I devoured this guy's corpse!]
