Qin Shi wanted him to accompany her to some sort of entrepreneur cocktail party.

The conference wasn't even in the city; it was in City Name.

"I can help you, but I have one condition."

"That's fantastic! Whatever the condition is, I'll definitely agree to it," Qin Shi said, her face full of joy.

"No rush. I'll tell you once I've thought it over. In short, helping you requires compensation."

Qin Shi thought for a moment and decided to agree first; if she couldn't fulfill it later, it wouldn't matter that she had agreed.

"Fine. I owe you a favor."

Chen Cheng hung up the phone with a playful smirk.

He was originally supposed to go to Pei Yin's place to practice the piano tomorrow, but it looks like he'll have to make Qin Shi compensate for that.

Seeing him hang up the phone, Fang Sijin blinked and walked over.

"If you don't have anything else to do, I'm going to sleep."

She said it as if she were going back to her own room, but there was a hint of anticipation in her eyes.

He was just too good at it; every time, she felt like she was in heaven while being served.

She was becoming addicted to that feeling of sweetness and detachment.

Chen Cheng thought for a moment. "Go draw a bath; I want to take a soak."

A flush rose to Fang Sijin's face. "Okay~" She went upstairs with light steps.

Chen Cheng lowered his head to reply to some messages for a while and made two video calls before heading upstairs.

There was no helping it; with so many people, he had to manage his time reasonably.

Night.

"No more, no more, I'm too tired."

Fang Sijin, her face flushed, leaned into Chen Cheng's embrace.

"Alright," Chen Cheng smiled calmly, not making things difficult for her.

He had already discovered that the principle of "use it or lose it" applied to these matters as well.

He was getting stronger and stronger; how could an ordinary woman be his match?

If everyone were present, Scum Cheng would unhesitatingly shout, "I want to fight ten!"

After resting for a while, Fang Sijin raised her head to look at Chen Cheng. "You don't actually want me to be your nanny, do you?"

Chen Cheng smiled. "This is called a personal assistant, not a nanny."

"It's all the same," Fang Sijin pouted coquettishly.

Chen Cheng raised his hand and gave her a slap.

"Ah~"

"Do as you're told. If you go out and flaunt yourself now, and run into Xu Wenchang and the others, I'd like to see how you explain it."

Fang Sijin reluctantly pursed her lips. "I'm used to working; I can't just sit idle. You rarely come over, and I have nothing to do staying here all day."

Chen Cheng raised an eyebrow. Had she developed PTSD from being exploited, to the point where she felt uncomfortable if she wasn't working?

He thought for a moment. "Go sign up for some classes. Learn cooking, baking, wine appreciation, golf, tennis, or something like that."

"Fill your time, and you won't feel idle."

Fang Sijin thought about it; that seemed okay. It was better than just living like a vegetable.

"Alright, I'll go sign up tomorrow."

Fang Sijin asked about the car again. "Didn't you tell us to buy a car? We went to the 4S dealership to take a look the other day."

"Sister Fan is planning to buy a BMW X5. I don't know much about cars, so what do you think I should buy?"

Chen Cheng curled his lips; that really fit Fan Shengmei's flamboyant personality.

Chen Cheng had only given a limit of 500,000; for Fan Shengmei to buy an X5, she would probably have to overdraw the living expenses Scum Cheng would give next month.

In contrast, Fang Sijin was much more tactful; she knew who was paying and asked for their opinion.

This is what you call emotional value.

Scum Cheng's favorability towards Fang Sijin increased instantly.

He stroked her smooth, fair back. "Do you prefer a sedan or an SUV?"

Fang Sijin frowned. The money she earned each month was all quietly saved up; that was her sense of security. She had never thought about buying a car, so for a moment, she really didn't know which one she preferred.

"I don't know either; I know too little about cars."

Chen Cheng thought for a moment. "Go buy a Volvo XC60, the best trim. It's enough for you to go grocery shopping and attend classes."

Fang Sijin nodded without hesitation. "Mm!"

In fact, she didn't even know what kind of car it was, but since he recommended it, it couldn't be wrong.

After speaking, Fang Sijin looked up at Chen Cheng again. "How about I pay for it myself? You gave me 800,000, and I haven't really used it yet."

Chen Cheng couldn't help but smile; the conquered Fang Sijin was really starting to consider things for him.

She couldn't bear to spend his money anymore.

He pinched her chin. "No need. The money I gave you, just spend it. If you can't spend it all, save it, or you could buy some gold."

"Gold?"

"Yes," Chen Cheng nodded. "Gold always retains its value; it's perfectly fine for hedging against inflation. Besides, it will appreciate in the future..."

"Appreciate?" Fang Sijin's eyes lit up. "Then I'll use all my money to buy gold."

Chen Cheng smiled; she was truly afraid of being poor, and Fang Sijin also had a money-loving side.

He shook his head. "No need, with your money, just buy a tenth of it."

Thinking of future gold prices, Chen Cheng pondered for a moment and said, "I'll give you another sum of money; you can help me buy some as well."

"Why are you buying gold?" Fang Sijin looked at him, confused. She knew Chen Cheng was very good at investing, so there shouldn't be any need to buy gold.

"If you're bored, you can read some books on financial management." Scum Cheng was very patient, stroking her cheek. "Gold is the ballast in asset allocation; who knows, one day we might need it to turn things around."

As Chen Cheng spoke, he was also pondering in his heart that if the timing was right, Company Name should also allocate some gold.

It was just that all the money was tied up for now; he would have to wait until before the Great Bear made its move to see if there were any funds available.

"I haven't given you the agency fee for this apartment yet. Should you save it for yourself, or put it with me for investment?"

After being "taken care of" by Chen Cheng that night, Fang Sijin had never brought up this matter.

But Scum Cheng never thought about coveting her money, and since they were talking about money today, he brought it up.

"It won't lose money, will it?" Fang Sijin's eyes were a bit guarded.

Chen Cheng grabbed her playfully, annoyed. "You don't believe in my ability?"

Fang Sijin blushed. "No~" She composed herself before continuing, "Then put it with you."

Chen Cheng smiled and took out his phone. "I'll transfer the money to you; after paying the taxes, you can go open a stock account."

"Pay taxes?"

Chen Cheng explained patiently. "This amount is relatively large and counts as incidental income, so incidental income tax must be paid."

"In the future, when I give you money, you won't need to pay it. It will count as a normal personal gift."

"I'm having you pay the tax so you don't leave any loose ends. The tax you pay, I will earn back for you."

Six million is a lot; even if Scum Cheng gives her money in the future, he can't give six million all at once.

If he did that, this sum could easily be classified as incidental income.

He didn't like leaving loose ends when doing things; pay taxes where taxes are due, and don't sleep where you shouldn't.

"Oh, okay, I'll go tomorrow."

After speaking, Fang Sijin leaned over and kissed Scum Cheng.

After a good while, Scum Cheng propped himself up on the bed, looking down at her.

"Rested enough?"

Fang Sijin, her face crimson, nodded with a voice as soft as a mosquito's hum. "Mm~"
