The next day, Zou Yu woke up and did not see Chen Cheng.

She went downstairs and looked around, but could not find him, though Eleven was still there.

She pulled Eleven aside and asked, "Where is Chen Cheng?"

Eleven, who was eating breakfast, glanced at her with an unpleasant expression and replied indifferently, "The boss went out early this morning."

"Where did he go?"

Eleven rolled her eyes at her and did not answer her question.

The corner of Zou Yu's mouth twitched awkwardly; clearly, Eleven would not reveal Chen Cheng's whereabouts to her.

Zou Yu frowned and thought about it, suddenly feeling that things were not looking good.

Her expression changed.

Her breakfast tasted bland and flavorless.

She felt uneasy for the entire day.

It was not until the afternoon that Zou Yu made a decision, took out her computer, and drafted a divorce agreement for herself.

Chen Cheng drove his car today, so Eleven was given the day off.

Eleven caught a glimpse of the file title on Zou Yu's computer and frowned.

"You aren't a delusional woman, are you?"

Zou Yu frowned and looked at her coldly, "What do you mean?"

Eleven sneered, "You don't think the boss is going to marry you, do you?"

Zou Yu's expression stiffened slightly, but she remained stubborn, "What does my divorce have to do with him?"

Eleven raised an eyebrow, a smile playing on her lips. Ignoring the stubborn woman, she looked down and continued playing with her phone.

Rewinding to early morning.

Scum Cheng woke up bright and early and drove around the streets for a long time looking for a steamed bun shop.

He tried many different flavors before finding one he was satisfied with.

Then, he drove to the place where he had dropped off Han Su yesterday.

He checked his watch and waited for a while, and sure enough, he saw Han Su, dressed in a white sleeveless chiffon shirt and jeans, walking gracefully toward him.

Seeing Chen Cheng leaning against the car door, an irrepressible smile appeared on Han Su's face.

When she reached him, she asked softly, "Why are you here?"

"And so early, too."

Chen Cheng took off his sunglasses, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly, "I came to bring you some steamed buns. Since I didn't know where you lived, I had to wait here."

Steamed buns?

Han Su's eyes lit up, and she looked into Chen Cheng's eyes.

A smile appeared on her lips, "Then why didn't you call me? You have my number, don't you?"

"I was afraid of disturbing your sleep."

"Then weren't you afraid I wouldn't go out today?"

Chen Cheng smiled, "I'm not stupid. If it was past the time for sleeping in, I naturally would have called you."

Han Su looked at his expression, her lips curled upward the whole time.

This guy was still as naive as before.

She raised an eyebrow and asked, "So, where are my steamed buns?"

"Oh~" Chen Cheng only then remembered the buns. He turned, leaned over, and took the food container from the passenger seat.

He opened the paper lid and handed it to Han Su, "See if they're good."

Han Su smiled, reached out and took one, put it in her mouth, took a bite, chewed, and said, "Not bad..."

She thought for a moment, "Why does it feel a bit like something I've eaten before?"

Chen Cheng smiled and didn't say anything, watching her eat the steamed buns in big bites.

Han Su raised an eyebrow and asked, "How did you know I hadn't eaten breakfast?"

Chen Cheng's mouth curled up slightly, "How many urban beauties eat breakfast on weekends?"

Uh...

Han Su was a bit speechless; that was true.

On weekdays, she would just buy something on the way to work; on weekends, if she didn't go out in the morning, it was naturally impossible to have breakfast.

Han Su took a bite of the bun, "Have you eaten?"

Chen Cheng shook his head. Han Su looked at him, stunned for a moment, "Then why aren't you eating?"

"Watching you eat so happily, I just wanted to watch you finish."

A blush crept up Han Su's face, and she picked up another bun from the container and stuffed it into Chen Cheng's hand.

Chen Cheng's mouth curled up; he felt Han Su's acceptance of his sudden appearance.

Chen Cheng took a bite of the bun, turned around, and took the other two food containers and soy milk from the passenger seat.

He walked to the steps and squatted down. Han Su was stunned by his actions, remembered something, and then walked over and squatted down beside him.

They took a bite of their buns and smiled at each other.

Neither of them had expected such a comical scene after reuniting.

She wasn't a pampered princess who cared deeply about her image, and he wasn't a noble prince detached from worldly affairs.

They were just reminiscing in a way that only the two of them understood.

That year, at seventeen, the two of them stood at the school gate in the winter; now, they were squatting on the roadside eating buns together.

They ate for a while, polishing off six buns and two cups of soy milk.

Han Su took tissues from her bag and handed them to him.

"Thanks," Chen Cheng smiled, "Going out so early, where are you headed?"

"He Zhinan, the girl from yesterday, called early in the morning and asked me to help her pick out an outfit for a banquet tonight."

Chen Cheng raised an eyebrow, "Then let's go, I'll take you."

Han Su glanced at him, her eyes smiling, and did not object.

Chen Cheng went to throw away the trash and came back, and the two got into the car.

Once inside the car, Han Su looked at the laptop in her hand and paused.

Chen Cheng took the laptop and placed it on the armrest box, explaining, "I'm writing a program recently, so I carry it with me. I write whenever I get inspiration."

Han Su suddenly realized; she had forgotten that finance had become inseparable from programming nowadays.

They didn't talk much more, and she gave Chen Cheng the address to Gao Peng's place.

They chatted idly on the road. Seeing how Chen Cheng was, Han Su knew he was determined to stick with her today, and after thinking about it, she didn't oppose it.

It was just as well that He Zhinan had called her so early; it was 100% because she wanted some gossip.

She might as well bring the person involved along, at least this guy was still very handsome.

Before long, they arrived downstairs at a sea-view apartment building near Repulse Bay.

Chen Cheng's mouth curled up slightly; this kid Gao Peng was a typical second-generation rich kid.

His family got rich once when their home was demolished during his childhood, and later, after his parents' business succeeded, he became thoroughly wealthy.

On the way, Han Su had already informed He Zhinan that Chen Cheng was coming along too.

He Zhinan ran downstairs in person to welcome them.

She glanced at Han Su with eyes full of gossip, then looked at Handsome Chen and extended her hand generously, "Hello, my name is He Zhinan, I'm Han Su's friend."

"Hello." Chen Cheng shook her hand lightly.

To be honest, Chen Cheng didn't know her well; he had only seen her in news announcements about her 'proud figure'.

After seeing her in person yesterday, he realized she was actually very petite.

She was the same type as Yu Chuhui and Qu Xiaoxiao—a petite girl.

He Zhinan led the two of them upstairs.

After asking the Filipino maid to pour tea for Chen Cheng, He Zhinan pulled Han Su aside, wanting to gossip.

Han Su looked at Chen Cheng, feeling a bit apologetic, "Could you sit here for a while? I'm going to help her pick out an outfit."

Chen Cheng smiled and raised the laptop in his hand, "You go ahead and do your thing."

Han Su nodded and followed He Zhinan to the room.

Gao Peng had gone out on business; the company was in the final sprint toward going public, and he had many social activities to attend.

Chen Cheng walked to the balcony and found a chair to sit down.

You have to say, Gao Peng really knew how to enjoy life.

Not far downstairs was the beach, and in front of the building were low-rise detached villas, with absolutely no obstruction to the view—a first-line sea view.

After looking for a moment, Chen Cheng withdrew his gaze, opened his laptop, and continued copying the core code.

According to his estimation, in another month or so, he should be finished copying it.

By then, it should be just in time for the personnel to be in place.

As for the middle management issue, Chen Cheng had already asked Gao Yue to handle it through a headhunter.

Chen Cheng was typing rapidly on the keyboard, but his phone rang.

Chen Cheng picked it up and saw it was a call from General Manager.
