Text To Speech

Qiao Xichen didn't speak for a long while, "So, is this how you live?"

"Living as you please?"

Chen Cheng nodded, "Mm, living as I please."

Qiao Xichen curled her lips, "I've been in Beijing for so many years, and I'm still living paycheck to paycheck; I haven't saved any money at all."

"My parents only have me as a daughter, and watching them grow older day by day, I don't have the confidence to live as I please."

Chen Cheng smiled, "You will."

As he spoke, Chen Cheng's massaging hands moved lower, switching to a different spot.

Qiao Xichen now understood why this bad guy wanted to give her a massage.

However, it was truly comfortable, a sensation that was somewhat soul-stirring and bone-melting.

...

The next morning.

Chen Cheng opened his eyes and was surprised to not see anyone.

He frowned slightly and rolled out of bed.

Walking out of the room, Chen Cheng heard movement in the kitchen.

The corners of his mouth lifted slightly as he walked over.

He hugged Qiao Xichen from behind as she stood by the stove cooking porridge.

"Ah! How come you walk without making a sound? You scared me to death," Qiao Xichen shuddered, giving a coquettish scold.

Chen Cheng chuckled, "Is it possible that you were just distracted?"

He kissed her, "What are you thinking about?"

When Chen Cheng came in, he saw that her eyes were unfocused and staring blankly.

Qiao Xichen's face flushed slightly, and after a moment of hesitation, she still spoke up.

"I was thinking about your name. Is your name really Chen Jianan?"

Chen Cheng's mouth twitched; sure enough, the more he hid it, the more curious she became.

After thinking for a moment, he said, "Yeah, you don't think I'm lying to you, do you?"

"Huh?" Qiao Xichen was suddenly stunned, "Chen Jianan?"

Turning her head, she looked at Chen Cheng in shock, "Don't tell me it's that singer, Chen Jianan."

Chen Cheng nodded, admitting it directly, "Mm, it's me."

Qiao Xichen's eyes widened, shocked for a long while before she finally came to her senses, "No wonder you wouldn't tell me your name."

Chen Cheng chuckled, his hands not staying idle, and teased, "So, how does it feel to date a top-tier singer?"

Qiao Xichen curled her lips in a proud manner, "It's alright."

Chen Cheng looked at her and knew that her heart had already been stirred by stormy waves.

However, Scum Cheng didn't expose her.

After freshening up and drinking some porridge, Chen Cheng drove her to the company.

Chen Cheng didn't go up himself; he turned and headed back to the courtyard hotel.

Li Na had returned to Shanghai from North of the Great Wall, and today she had come over from Shanghai again.

Recently, Li Na was no different from a frequent flyer; she was either on a business trip or on the way to one.

After the data center site was selected, it was time for the intense project bidding and construction.

When Chen Cheng returned to his courtyard, he saw Li Na and Zou Yu drinking tea in the tea room.

Chen Cheng smiled and walked in.

Li Na immediately stood up to welcome him, "You're back."

Chen Cheng reached out and hugged her, lowering his head to kiss her red lips.

Li Na was also somewhat addicted; once they kissed, her expression became dazed.

Zou Yu looked at the two of them with indignation, "Ahem~"

"I'm saying, can't you two be mindful of your influence? I'm still here."

Chen Cheng and Li Na exchanged a look, and wicked smiles appeared on both their faces simultaneously.

"Ah, what are you two doing?"

"Don't take off my clothes."

"..."

After relieving their longing, Li Na was well-rested.

She started reporting work to Chen Cheng.

"Our collaboration with Peking University has been finalized."

"Our Beijing R&D center will accept their students."

"Academic achievements will be shared, but commercial interests belong entirely to us."

Chen Cheng nodded; this was a talent pipeline reserve project.

Peking University seemed to be providing the people, but in reality, Chen Cheng was paying the salaries, and in the end, these people would have nothing to do with Peking University.

But it still allowed them to take the credit.

Who was basking in whose glory, it was hard to say now.

"What about the office?"

Li Na traced circles on his chest with her finger, "The colleagues below found a few places. I took a look, and it might be more suitable to be in Zhongguancun."

"It's a bit expensive there, but our R&D center in Beijing won't be on too large a scale for the time being."

"With universities surrounding it, it's convenient for attracting talent and conducting school-enterprise collaborations later on."

Chen Cheng grabbed her and gave a squeeze, praising her, "Not bad. Our President Li is becoming more and more like a CEO."

"Oh my~" Li Na hummed, "I can't play anymore."

"If you keep playing, I'm going to..."

Li Na's face was flushed, looking as moist and fresh as an eighteen-year-old.

To use a trendy term, Li Na at this moment could be described with one word.

Moist!

Chen Cheng chuckled; with one in each arm, it was hard not to laugh.

"If you don't want a massage, forget it. I'll give Xiao Yu one."

As he said this, he placed his hand on Zou Yu.

Zou Yu was exhausted and had long since closed her eyes and fallen asleep.

"Hmph~" Li Na hummed sourly, "Stinky man."

This rest lasted until the afternoon.

Lunch was ordered from the hotel staff to be delivered to the courtyard.

After four in the afternoon, Li Na had recovered her strength and left.

With Chen Cheng being such a hands-off boss, she had to get busy.

Otherwise, she would have to obediently go back to doing her secretarial work.

That wasn't what Li Na wanted.

She really liked this busy state of directing affairs and wielding power.

Whether it was the data center or the scale of ZEN's R&D team, watching them grow day by day gave Li Na a great sense of accomplishment.

Not to mention the tens of thousands of acres of desert in North of the Great Wall waiting to be transformed.

The ambitions within Li Na's 36D chest had long been flourishing and overflowing.

In the tea room, Zou Yu watched Chen Cheng processing documents at lightning speed and muttered.

"Monster!"

This man had finished processing a week's worth of backed-up documents in half an hour.

That speed was comparable to Cao Cao.

Uh... this bad guy really did have a bit of the cao thief's legacy, flirting with young girls and young wives everywhere.

"Who are you scolding?"

Zou Yu rolled her eyes at him, "Can't you tell when someone is saying something nice?"

Chen Cheng's mouth lifted slightly as he continued to look at the risk control documents sent from Hong Kong.

Zou Yu frowned, "When are we going back to Shanghai?"

"Let's wait for Company Name's new product to launch and see how things go before deciding."

Zou Yu was stunned for a moment, "You seem to value this new product from Company Name a lot."

Chen Cheng nodded, "Whether Company Name can make a comeback depends on this."

"Is the Coconut Latte that powerful?" Zou Yu was very puzzled, feeling that Chen Cheng valued this new product a bit too much.

Chen Cheng smiled and explained patiently, "In the beverage business, it's either caffeine addiction or sugar addiction."

"The domestic customer base doesn't actually have a high acceptance of coffee's bitterness. People who drink black coffee domestically have always been a niche group."

"We are in the coffee business; if we want to expand the market, we must find a product that can be accepted by the masses."

"And a Latte brewed with coconut milk fits this condition."

Zou Yu frowned, "But isn't there already a classic Latte brewed with milk?"

Chen Cheng smiled, "A regular Latte doesn't have sweetness. But coconut milk has a refreshing taste and a hint of sweetness, making it the best coffee companion."

"At least in the domestic environment where people are addicted to sugar, that's the case."

Zou Yu nodded thoughtfully, "That does make sense."

As she spoke, she asked another question, "This thing isn't difficult; what if others copy it?"

Chen Cheng's mouth lifted slightly, "That depends on supply chain cost management and economies of scale."

"Being cheap is always the best sales strategy."

As the two were chatting, Chen Cheng's phone rang.
