Do not think Chen Cheng is being realistic.

This is the adult world, where people think more about interests than loyalty.

Regarding Chen Cheng's decision, the three girls naturally had no objections.

Qian Sanyi entered the address of Jiang Tianhao's home into the navigation system.

Before long, Chen Cheng brought the others to Jiang Tianhao's house, a residential area of purely detached villas.

It was evident that Jiang Tianhao's family used to be quite well-off; this three-story villa was worth at least 100 million.

"Brother Cheng, over here!" Lin Miaomiao called out, looking at Chen Cheng who was gazing upward.

It seemed she had been to Jiang Tianhao's house before and was very familiar with it.

That made sense; in their group of four, she had the best relationship with Jiang Tianhao.

Seeing the courtyard gate open, Chen Cheng led the four of them straight inside.

Walking to the door, he found the entrance door was also wide open.

Before he even took a step, he heard voices coming from inside.

"A mere three million, and it's enough to drive our Boss Jiang to this state?"

Jiang Qilong stared at General Manager Meng, who had come to kick them while they were down, with a dead expression.

"I see this is how it is."

"I'll pay off the debt you owe. From now on, the trademark for Jiang Family Kitchen belongs to me."

Upon hearing that an outsider wanted to take away his family's trademark, Jiang Tianhao couldn't sit still and was about to stand up to fight General Manager Meng with his life.

Jiang Qilong pressed his son down, glanced at General Manager Meng with a sneer, and sat back on the sofa, his expression calm.

"Old Jiang, I saved your life; I've done all I can."

Seeing Jiang Qilong unmoved, General Manager Meng looked at Jiang Tianhao again.

"Young Master Jiang, money is just an external possession; you really shouldn't think of doing something foolish."

Jiang Qilong looked at General Manager Meng's round face, his teeth itching with hatred.

He looked at Xiao Mao, who had come from the underground bank to collect the debt, knowing that there would be no clean end to this today without losing some blood.

Chen Cheng curled the corner of his mouth.

This man surnamed Meng was a boss Jiang Qilong had met after spending money to have Deng Xiaoqi's mother act as a broker.

Who knew this guy was so unscrupulous; the trademark, which wasn't even negotiable at 30 million, was now being demanded by him for 3 million.

He was betting on the fact that Jiang Qilong was at the end of his rope.

Last time Jiang Qilong didn't agree, so today he brought the debt collectors to the door.

Jiang Family Kitchen was just his assets; his son was Jiang Qilong's life.

The man surnamed Meng was banking on exactly that.

That's why he teamed up with the underground bank to come to the door.

One side gets the trademark, the other side recovers the debt. The two parties were a perfect match.

Jiang Qilong was going through his final internal struggle and was just about to open his mouth to agree when a "discordant" voice reached everyone's ears.

"Hao Zi, are you thinking of doing something foolish?"

Before the voice had faded, Chen Cheng was seen walking in with Lin Miaomiao, Deng Xiaoqi, and the others.

The crowd that had packed the room turned to look at Chen Cheng.

Seeing it was Chen Cheng, Jiang Tianhao immediately stood up, "Brother Cheng!"

Chen Cheng waved his hand and looked at him with a smile, "You're thinking of doing something foolish?"

Jiang Tianhao glared fiercely at the man surnamed Meng, "Not at all."

Jiang Qilong didn't know Chen Cheng and looked at his son inquiringly. Jiang Tianhao noticed his father's gaze and hurriedly introduced him:

"Dad, this is Brother Cheng, Rui Rui's older brother."

"General Manager Jiang, hello." Chen Cheng nodded at Jiang Qilong with a smile.

"Hello." Jiang Qilong nodded back at Chen Cheng with a smile.

He swept his gaze over the few thugs who had come to collect the debt. Apart from the leader, Xiao Mao, the other lackeys were all dressed in suits and leather shoes.

There were no young men with yellow-dyed hair, which made Chen Cheng feel much more at ease. This type of thug was the most dangerous—fearless and reckless, likely to stab you out of nowhere.

On the contrary, the seasoned veteran type of thug was much safer.

These people had the best instincts; they knew who could be provoked and who couldn't, seeing things much more clearly than most.

Otherwise, they would either be in jail or going hungry. Following a boss, if they didn't have any sense, they would have already gone off to work in a factory.

"Sanyi, you go play in the car with Rui Rui and the others."

Chen Cheng handed the car keys to Qian Sanyi.

Chen Cheng wouldn't bet on these thugs not daring to make a move.

A gentleman does not stand under a dangerous wall, let alone when he is with three young girls.

Qian Sanyi glanced at the people who had come to collect the debt and nodded at Chen Cheng.

Taking the car keys, Qian Sanyi didn't put them in his pocket, but instead threaded them onto his index finger and swung them around.

"Yeah, okay. Just as well, I'll go call my mom and tell her I won't be back for dinner tonight. She's on duty at work."

Chen Cheng curled the corner of his mouth; this kid was indeed smart.

Flashing the car keys while bluffing.

It was as if he was saying to the man surnamed Meng, 'Open your eyes and see what kind of capability my brother has.' 'My mom works a government job.'

"Brother Cheng," Zhao Rui looked at Chen Cheng with some worry.

She wasn't a child either; she could understand the situation and was uneasy.

Chen Cheng's mouth curved slightly as he leaned down and whispered in the Little Girl's ear: "You go to the car with Miao Miao and Xiao Qi first."

"If something really happens, you guys being outside makes it easier for Brother Cheng to run."

These words were Chen Cheng comforting Zhao Rui. Even if these debt collectors were stupid, they wouldn't dare cause trouble at the debtor's house.

They could intimidate, but if they actually made a move, they wouldn't get their money. Obviously, the boss behind the scenes still wanted the money back.

Zhao Rui thought about it; the three of them staying behind really wouldn't be of any help.

After the four of them left, Chen Cheng sent a message to Brother Sheng.

Then he walked through the crowd of thugs and sat down on the sofa by the coffee table with an air of authority.

Looking at Jiang Qilong, he said, "I originally just brought a few little ones over to play. I accidentally overheard something—General Manager Jiang, you're selling your trademark?"

Jiang Qilong gave a sheepish smile, his eyes fixed on the man surnamed Meng as he didn't speak.

Chen Cheng's mouth curved slightly, and he followed his gaze to the man surnamed Meng, "I just heard this gentleman wants to buy General Manager Jiang's trademark for three million?"

Ever since Chen Cheng walked in, the General Manager Meng had been assessing him, having already calculated things for a long time in his mind.

He had teamed up with people from the bank to set up this trap and had brought quite a few people with him. This young man hadn't been scared off by the display, but instead had walked in swaggeringly.

He was even driving a maybach...

General Manager Meng put a smile on his face and nodded faintly, "Does this young brother have any advice?"

Chen Cheng chuckled, "Advice? I wouldn't dare."

"I've heard my younger sister mention General Manager Jiang's restaurant. She praised it endlessly, saying there are over a dozen chain stores in the city, every one of them requires queuing for a number, and it's delicious enough to make one drool."

Saying this, he looked at Jiang Qilong, "With such a good business, you're only selling it for three million?"

"How about this, General Manager Jiang, sell it to me. For the sake of Hao Zi, I'll offer six million, how about that?"

The bald man surnamed Meng hadn't gotten anxious yet, but the debt-collecting leader, Xiao Mao, got anxious first.

Pointing at Chen Cheng's nose, he shouted, "You f*cking looking for trouble, aren't you?"

Collecting debts was for his boss, it wasn't his money.

But if this deal was snatched away, his kickback for helping set up the trap would be ruined.

Affecting his own wallet, how could he not be anxious?

Chen Cheng didn't even look him in the eye, but looked at the man surnamed Meng and continued, "It's a business deal, after all—the highest bidder wins. What does this gentleman think?"

The man surnamed Meng raised his hand to press down Xiao Mao's hand, looking at Chen Cheng with a smile, "Is this young brother planning to help General Manager Jiang?"

Chen Cheng spread his hands, "That's obvious."

"What's your surname, young brother?"

"Does it matter what my surname is? You want to know if I have the capability, don't you?"
