After a good while, Chen Cheng shrugged.

Forget it, none of my business.

Done...

A smile appeared on Scum Cheng's face as he casually opened Honor of Kings.

"Timi~"

Qiao Jingjing finished a match and stared at her friend list in a daze.

She muttered, "How is he online too?"

She casually sent a game invitation.

As a result, Chen Cheng didn't enter the room for a long time.

Qiao Jingjing's eyes darted around, and she switched to green bubble to send Chen Cheng a message.

[Are you online?]

Chen Cheng took some washed fruit from the kitchen downstairs and placed it on the coffee table under the sun lounger in the backyard garden.

He sat down and picked up his phone, only then noticing that Qiao Jingjing had sent a message.

[Yeah, what's up?]

Qiao Jingjing replied quickly, [Getting on?]

[Doggy side-eye laughing emoji]

The corners of Chen Cheng's mouth curled up; you're exactly who I was waiting for.

[Okay!]

The two of them quickly entered the game and turned on voice chat.

Qiao Jingjing asked casually, "Don't you have work today?"

"The new project is waiting for staff and the venue to be ready, so there's nothing much to do lately," Chen Cheng replied casually.

Qiao Jingjing's eyes lit up. This guy is so good at games; if he were my coach, I would definitely improve rapidly.

After thinking for a bit, she asked tentatively, "Can you be my coach?"

Chen Cheng feigned confusion: "Coach? What coach?"

Qiao Jingjing thought about it and explained the situation where she was being pressured into participating in the annual exhibition match.

Since Chen Cheng already knew who she was, there was no need to come up with lies to deceive him; she just told the truth.

"So you've been playing games every day lately to do your pre-study and review all at once?"

"Uh..." A hint of embarrassment flashed across Qiao Jingjing's face. "I guess so. Hehe~"

After that, she added stubbornly, "It's not like there's a rule saying a spokesperson must be an expert at the game."

Chen Cheng chuckled helplessly, "In other words, you have to participate in a match with four professional players and not lose too embarrassingly?"

Qiao Jingjing nodded, "It would be best if I could win."

Chen Cheng's mouth twitched. Ignorance is bliss.

However, it wasn't impossible; it all depended on the skill level of the random players the other side drew.

Moreover, Qiao Jingjing's gaming talent was quite good. After a few games yesterday, she already knew how to time her skills and kite.

Qiao Jingjing asked cautiously, "Is that okay?"

"Sure, I've got nothing better to do anyway," Chen Cheng didn't hesitate; this was exactly what he wanted.

"Let's get into the game first."

"Yay!" Seeing Chen Cheng agree, Qiao Jingjing was immediately overjoyed and a bit excited, her smile harder to suppress than an AK.

But as soon as they entered the game, someone snatched game character.

"Ah? My support position."

Chen Cheng: "Play Wang Zhaojun."

Qiao Jingjing: "But, I don't know how to play Wang Zhaojun."

Chen Cheng: "Your match will likely use the professional ban/pick mode, so you might not necessarily get game character. You need to broaden your hero pool and understand all the heroes' skills. We'll talk about that later."

"Change your summoner skill to Flash."

Qiao Jingjing nodded blankly, "Oh, okay then."

Qiao Jingjing reluctantly chose Wang Zhaojun, while Chen Cheng picked a random Jungler hero; he was also getting to know the heroes.

Entering the game, Qiao Jingjing went to the Mid lane.

Chen Cheng: "Change your settings. In the operation settings, change the priority attack target to the one with the lowest absolute health."

"If you're in a solo lane, you need to farm minions. The gold difference between last-hitting and not last-hitting a minion is thirty percent."

"In a duo lane, the marksman does the last-hitting, but in a solo lane, you have to do it yourself."

Qiao Jingjing was stunned, "30%! That much?"

Chen Cheng nodded, "In low-tier matches, there's a lot of fighting. The gold from team fights and kills is higher, so it's easy to overlook minion wave gold."

"But it's different in high-tier matches."

"Opponents in high-tier matches are more cautious with each other. Without being certain of getting a kill, they generally won't choose a high-risk playstyle."

"In that case, minion waves become an important source of gold."

Qiao Jingjing nodded thoughtfully, "Oh, I see~"

The two of them played the game while talking.

Chen Cheng explained everything from minion wave gold and Mid lane laning logic to Jungler logic.

He taught Qiao Jingjing how to prevent GANKs and Mid-Jungle synergy using reverse thinking.

Also helping the Jungler with counter-jungling and taking map resources.

He didn't expect Qiao Jingjing to remember everything at once, but he wanted her to know what she was doing.

What should be done at what time.

Mechanics can be practiced, but awareness should be established as early as possible.

Qiao Jingjing complained quite a bit, "Why do I have to learn math just to play a game?"

Chen Cheng's mouth curled up slightly; this was just the beginning.

Later on, calculating health, damage, Ultimate cooldowns, and summoner skill cooldowns would really give her a headache.

After one match, Qiao Jingjing looked at the results and her mouth curled up unconsciously, "Finally, I have more kills than deaths."

In the second match, Qiao Jingjing still chose Wang Zhaojun.

Chen Cheng didn't stop her. He could become familiar with a hero in one match, but Qiao Jingjing might need five or six matches as a starting point.

Entering the loading screen, Qiao Jingjing was stunned, "How come the other side also has a Wang Zhaojun? This feels scarier than an outfit clash on the red carpet."

Chen Cheng smiled and asked, "If you had an outfit clash on the red carpet, what would you do?"

Qiao Jingjing was stunned, her eyes darting quickly, "Adjust the makeup and change the hairstyle on the fly. If there's no time, I'd have to highlight personal advantages through different poses."

Chen Cheng's mouth curled up slightly, "Right, differentiated competition."

"The opponent's hero is the same as yours, so you understand their skills. If you're a bit more careful, you can even remember their Ultimate timing."

Qiao Jingjing thought about it and agreed, but then her eyes darted and she asked back, "But doesn't the other side also know my skills and Ultimate timing?"

"That depends on the mechanics of both of you."

"First, farm minions calmly, and also keep an eye on the movement of the enemy hero at all times..."

Without surprise, Qiao Jingjing was severely schooled by the enemy Wang Zhaojun.

2/12, her mental state was completely broken.

Chen Cheng came to help a few times, but it had no effect.

Chen Cheng didn't say anything either.

Only after the game ended did he say to save the video of this match and watch it to learn the opponent's laning logic.

The two played until noon when Qiao Jingjing's assistant, Little Zhu, arrived.

"Jingjing, are you hungry? I brought you lunch."

"Ah?" Qiao Jingjing turned her head, and before she could speak, Chen Cheng spoke first.

"Lunch is here? Then I'm going to eat too."

Hearing the voice, Little Zhu immediately held her breath and cast a gossipy look at Qiao Jingjing.

A blush appeared on Qiao Jingjing's face. She huffed at Little Zhu in annoyance and said to the phone, "Okay."

Seeing Chen Cheng cancel the matchmaking, her eyes darted around. After thinking for a bit, she asked, "Are you still playing this afternoon?"

Chen Cheng's mouth twitched. Dating a female star really isn't that easy.

You're not giving me a break at all.

He thought for a bit, "I'll play. Since I promised to teach you, of course I'll accompany you. Just don't cry about your hands hurting later."

Qiao Jingjing immediately beamed with joy, "Then see you this afternoon?"

"See you this afternoon." Chen Cheng smiled and left the game room.

Seeing Qiao Jingjing hang up the voice chat, Little Zhu immediately ran over from the dining area with a knowing look in her eyes, "Jingjing, who is this?"
