Back at the hotel, Chen Cheng changed into a short-sleeved shirt and shorts.

He didn't bring Zou Yu or Eleven with him and went back out alone.

Just then, the car that Jiang Han had arranged to be delivered arrived.

It was a black SUV with a winged badge.

The person driving was the Bodyguard who had driven him back earlier.

Chen Cheng sat in the boss's seat, and the car headed straight to another five-star hotel a few kilometers away.

As soon as the car turned into the drop-off area at the hotel entrance, Chen Cheng had already spotted the person he came here to see.

The corners of his mouth curled up unconsciously.

The car came to a stop, and Chen Cheng got out.

He called out to the beautiful figure who had already walked to the revolving door, "Sun Xin!"

Sun Xin turned around, looking at the person who had approached, feeling a bit dazed.

"Who are you?"

Chen Cheng's mouth curled up slightly as he spread his arms. "Take a closer look."

Sun Xin frowned, sizing up the handsome man in front of her.

The more she looked, the more he resembled that person, so she tentatively asked, "Chen Cheng?"

Chen Cheng nodded with a big smile. "Long time no see."

"Huh?" A bright smile immediately appeared on Sun Xin's face. "Is it really you?"

"Is there any reason to doubt it?"

Sun Xin couldn't hide the smile on her face. "You've changed quite a bit."

"You're completely different from before."

Chen Cheng shrugged. "We haven't seen each other in over six years."

"Isn't it normal to have some changes?"

Sun Xin looked into his eyes, smiled, and shook her head. "I didn't even recognize you; this isn't just 'some' changes."

Chen Cheng chuckled. "You haven't changed much at all; you're still as beautiful as ever."

Chen Cheng wasn't just flattering her.

It was the truth; Sun Xin's appearance was highly distinctive.

She had a standard oval face, a high nose bridge, a sharp jawline, and a deep, three-dimensional side profile.

Her eyes were lively and charming, and her skin was fair and delicate.

She was 170cm tall, and from the neck down, she was all legs.

More importantly, she had an hourglass figure with excellent proportions.

Especially that waist-to-hip ratio.

Whew~

Sun Xin unconsciously lifted her chin, feeling delighted inside. "Don't flatter me."

Chen Cheng chuckled. "I'm telling the truth, but you don't believe me."

Sun Xin blinked. "I remember you were from Shanghai, right?"

"How come you're in the capital?"

"Just here for a business trip."

Sun Xin felt a little disappointed. "I thought you had come to the capital to develop your career."

"And came specifically for the class reunion."

Chen Cheng chuckled. "Coming specifically for it naturally has its reasons."

A hint of sweetness flashed through Sun Xin's heart. She cleared her throat ("Ahem~") and asked again:

"Isn't today Qixi Festival? Your company still sent you on a business trip?"

Chen Cheng looked at the favorability notification, his mouth curling up slightly.

Sure enough, modeling is the ultimate killer move for women.

"Then why aren't you celebrating Qixi?"

Sun Xin retorted, "What about you?"

"..."

The two smiled at each other.

A bright smile appeared on Sun Xin's face as she waved her hand. "Let's go, let's go in."

Chen Cheng stood still and shook his head. "I won't go in."

"Huh?" Sun Xin was stunned. "You're here, why not go in?"

Chen Cheng smiled and threw a straight pitch. "I've seen the person I wanted to see. There's no need to go see irrelevant people."

After speaking, he pointed towards the black SUV parked not far away. "Let's go, want to find another place to chat?"

"That wouldn't be... very good, would it?" Sun Xin frowned, looking in the direction Chen Cheng pointed.

Seeing the badge on the car, Sun Xin's lips pursed, and she shifted the bag on her back, feeling a bit guilty.

She thought about it; her main purpose for coming to the class reunion was to see him.

Indeed, as he said, her goal had been achieved.

Sun Xin nodded. "That... works." She hesitated for a moment. "But since we're already downstairs, isn't it a bit rude not to go up?"

"How about we go up and take a look?"

Chen Cheng glanced at the brand-new Chanel bag she was carrying and the expression on her face.

He immediately knew that she actually did want to attend the class reunion.

She had even specifically carried a brand-new bag.

It seemed she had some intentions of comparing and showing off.

Chen Cheng smiled accommodatingly. "Then I'll listen to you; let's go up and take a look."

Sun Xin smiled slightly. "Then let's go."

The two chatted as they walked, and standing at the elevator entrance, Sun Xin took another look at Chen Cheng.

"Just now at the entrance, I really didn't recognize you."

"You've changed so much."

"When we were in school, you weren't this sturdy at all."

Chen Cheng smirked. buddy is a cheater now, and has money in his pocket, so how could the change not be big?

He raised an eyebrow and said, "I'm not surprised at all."

"After all, when I was in school, I was the invisible type."

Sun Xin immediately disagreed, shaking her head like a rattle. "That's not true."

"You were very smart."

"I don't know if anyone else noticed," Sun Xin said, a bright smile appearing on her lips, "but I noticed."

"Oh? How so?" Chen Cheng was stunned.

In this life, before he started cheating, he really was the invisible type.

He was quite tall, but as thin as a stick.

"Hmph~" Sun Xin hummed softly. "Every final exam, you scored 85 in every subject, without exception."

"You didn't think no one would notice, did you?"

Chen Cheng was stunned. "In college, does anyone care about other people's final exam grades?"

Sun Xin glanced at him. "The cost of living in Shanghai is so high; I had to rely on scholarships for living expenses, okay?"

"Unlike you, who could often go home to mooch food and drinks."

Hearing her slightly resentful tone, Chen Cheng chuckled. "I don't think I fell short on bringing you guys milk tea, right?"

"That's true~" A bright smile remained on Sun Xin's face.

"Your family opened a milk tea..."

As she spoke, Sun Xin suddenly realized something was wrong and looked up at Chen Cheng.

"I'm sorry."

Chen Cheng chuckled. "Life, old age, sickness, and death—it's nothing big, it's long past."

As he spoke, Chen Cheng narrowed his eyes. "Classmate Sun Xin, you seem to care about me a lot."

"None of the classmates in the class should know about this."

Having her thoughts exposed, Sun Xin lifted her chin haughtily. "That's not the case."

The two arrived at the banquet hall, chatting and laughing.

As soon as they walked into the lounge, several people sitting and chatting saw them and quickly stood up to welcome them.

"You're finally here."

"The class beauty has finally arrived~" The woman in the lead even gave Sun Xin a hug.

"Long time no see~" Chen Cheng also hugged a few men he knew but wasn't familiar with anymore.

After exchanging a few pleasantries, the group surrounded the two.

The woman who had just hugged Sun Xin looked at the two of them ambiguously.

"You two... came together?"

This woman, who looked like a married young woman, was named Zhang Qin, and she was the one who organized today's gathering.

Sun Xin was a bit embarrassed. "Not exactly." She said, glancing at Chen Cheng.

Chen Cheng felt her gaze, smiled at the crowd, and then looked at her. "I went specifically to pick her up."

"Ooh~"

The crowd immediately started teasing, "And that doesn't count?"
