"bentley, bentley, it's just a damn bentley."

"Once I have money, I'll buy ten of them."

As tears flowed, Chu Xiaoyu's soft gaze began to turn somewhat sinister.

The gears of fate had begun to turn quietly.

Sun Xin clocked in at the company and sat at her workstation, feeling uneasy no matter how she thought about it.

Clearly, there was nothing between her and Chu Xiaoyu; if he could see that clearly and they could go back to being friends, it would be fine.

But why did it feel so strange?

Chu Xiaoyu's 'we don't know each other' from earlier didn't sound like he was just speaking out of anger.

After thinking it over, she sent a message to her younger sister, Sun Xiang.

[If Chu Xiaoyu does anything out of line, keep an eye on him for me.]

After sending the message, Sun Xin shook her head and thought of Chen Cheng.

Blinking, she opened her browser and searched for Zhen Cheng in a search engine.

After looking for a while, she could only find news about Zhen Cheng acquiring Yi An.

There was absolutely no information about Chen Cheng himself.

Refusing to give up, she searched again using Google, and this time, Sun Xin's eyes lit up.

She was even a bit tongue-tied, muttering to herself, "You've even made it onto a magazine cover?"

"We haven't seen each other for only a few years; this is just too ridiculous, isn't it?"

As she spoke, a silly, doting smile appeared on Sun Xin's face.

Just then, Sun Xin's supervisor, Wu Jiang, walked over.

"What are you looking at? Why are you smiling so happily?"

"Oh~" Sun Xin immediately snapped out of it, feeling a bit awkward as she gave a sheepish smile. "It's nothing."

Wu Jiang placed the coffee in his hand on her desk. "I brought you a coffee, your favorite flavor."

"Thanks~" Sun Xin was stunned for a moment, her mind racing as she thought about how to deal with him.

Wu Jiang glanced at her screen. "You're searching for him."

Sun Xin asked in confusion, "You know him?"

Wu Jiang shook his head. "I know of him, but he doesn't know me."

"I saw it when this issue of the magazine came out last year."

"However, this person is quite low-key."

"He's likely intentionally pulling media reports."

"And it happened around the time of that big star Qiao Jingjing's hundreds of millions in liquidated damages."

"At the time, the news was suppressed and didn't gain much traction."

"Now, there's almost no trace of this person left on the internet."

Sun Xin looked at Wu Jiang and pondered for two seconds.

She was well aware of what his intentions towards her were.

Raising an eyebrow, she made a decision and said, "This is my university classmate. We were together last night."

"Pfft~" Wu Jiang almost spat his coffee onto her face.

Swallowing the coffee, Wu Jiang asked in shock, "He's your university classmate?"

Sun Xin nodded. "Four years of undergraduate study, we were in the same class."

Wu Jiang narrowed his eyes, his expression already somewhat stiff as he said in disbelief, "And you're together now?"

Sun Xin nodded again, a smile playing on her lips. "Mm, yes."

"We liked each other back when we were in school."

"But at that time, he was quite dull and didn't like talking to people."

"So we missed our chance."

"However, someone wanted a favor from him and specifically organized a class reunion."

"He heard I was coming, so he came too."

"And that's how we reunited."

"..."

Wu Jiang looked like he was constipated; he no longer wanted to listen to Sun Xin's love story.

"Organize yesterday's materials; there's a meeting at ten o'clock."

After saying that, he turned and left.

Watching Wu Jiang's back, Sun Xin secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Turning back to the photo of Chen Cheng on her computer screen, a brilliant smile spread across her face as she muttered, "I suppose this is the price of being with you."

She knew very well what it meant to directly state that she was no longer single.

It meant that from now on, her work here would no longer receive extra care or leniency.

As long as he didn't suppress her or intentionally make things difficult for her, Wu Jiang's character would be considered good.

Just as she said herself, she was a rational person.

She knew clearly that at a time like this, she absolutely could not sit on the fence.

She wouldn't offend Chen Cheng just for a little bit of workplace convenience.

Sun Xin didn't want even a sliver of a possibility of that happening.

After all, looking at it now...

...this job was truly insignificant compared to a gold mine like Chen Cheng.

Thinking about it, Sun Xin felt a bit excited again.

She wished she could call Chen Cheng back and 'interrogate' him properly.

As for Chen Cheng, he had arranged to have tea with Lei Bus in the morning.

During the last Sheng Xuan press conference, Chen Cheng had met the famous internet figure, Lei Bus.

Since he happened to be free in the morning, they had a chat.

In Chen Cheng's mind, a new project was brewing.

A direction that Sheng Xuan had abandoned, a project that could be incubated using Zen AI.

They didn't officially discuss the project; they just talked about Artificial Intelligence and the future.

When he learned that Chen Cheng had secretly built a five-thousand-card data center...

...Lei Bus was shocked. In his mind, Zen was just a tiny ant that had been established for less than a year.

And he just went all-in with hundreds of millions on a data center?

Later, upon learning that Chen Cheng was already planning for a hundred-thousand-card center, Lei Bus's eyes practically popped out of his head.

This is a damn ten or twenty billion investment.

Just like that?

As expected, you stinking finance people make the most money.

Lei Bus started as an old programmer, so he could understand technical issues.

The more they talked, the more interested Lei Bus became in AI.

Chen Cheng looked at his eager expression, not knowing if it was a good or bad thing.

As he left and sat in his car, Chen Cheng had a random thought.

Could it be that Lei Bus will stop building cars and go all-in on AI instead?

Chen Cheng thought about it; there really was a possibility, and a very high one at that.

The original path had been taken by Tan Zongming and Sheng Xuan first.

If he took it again, the effect would certainly be greatly diminished.

Chen Cheng frowned; damn, he hadn't just talked himself into a competitor, had he?

However, Chen Cheng wasn't worried.

Even if he wanted to, by the time they initiated the project and got it running, Zen's products would likely already be released.

Chen Cheng knew very well that once Zen's products were released, it would directly cut off the official channels for other large companies to buy high-end cards.

The few high-end cards smuggled in certainly wouldn't be enough.

When the time came, if they wanted to keep up, they would have to buy computing power from Chen Cheng.

Every step had been calculated by Scum Cheng.

Now the only trouble was what to do about Zen's subsequent training and upgrades after being banned or even placed on the Entity List.

How would Zen's subsequent training and upgrades be handled?

This issue led back to semiconductors.

Sitting in the car, Chen Cheng carefully reviewed his current layout.

Blinking, he made a call to Yu Tu.

"Hello~ Leader, what are your instructions?" As soon as the call connected, Yu Tu's teasing voice came through.

Chen Cheng's lips curled slightly. "Yu Tu, I want you to set up a department specifically for investing in semiconductors."

"Can you do it?"

"I only have one requirement: don't get scammed."

In investing, the biggest fear isn't loss, but encountering fraud.

Cheaters in a casino make ten or twenty million at most.

But these investment scammers are different; they scam for hundreds of millions, billions, or even tens of billions.

For instance, the Jiangcheng Semiconductor Company that was recently exposed is a living example.

Investors had put in a cumulative total of over 15 billion, including state-owned assets, and it all went down the drain, resulting in a total loss.

However, Jiangcheng has a tradition in this field.

There were people doing this back in the millennium. And the person who did it was actually Chen Cheng's senior alumnus.

Well, this world is just one giant center for exchanging swindling techniques.

Yu Tu pondered for a while before replying firmly and concisely, "I can!"
