Today is the weekend, and after finishing their meal and cleaning up, the group prepared to go together to the Old Western-style house on Huaihai Road.

Anyway, Chen Cheng had notified them that he would mainly be living there from now on.

It was truly exhausting to run around everywhere, so it was better to let them come find him.

It was like setting up a transit hub, connecting all his homes across the city.

Scum Cheng was confident.

I'm going to take on ten a day.

As the four of them went downstairs, they saw the unemployed He Minhong pacing back and forth in the hallway, looking completely out of it.

He Minhong had messed up with an author she was responsible for, and the author had sued their company.

In the interest of minimizing losses, He Minhong, the editor in charge, was made the scapegoat.

However, it was also her own fault for telling the author the real reason why the company was behind on paying author royalties.

And she even let the author record it and post it online.

This left He Minhong in a position where she was disliked by everyone.

The three women greeted He Minhong and then went back to their respective rooms to change clothes.

Chen Cheng didn't say a word, but after responding to the three women, He Minhong called out listlessly, "Morning, Brother Cheng~"

Chen Cheng smiled, nodded faintly, and said, "Morning!"

He Minhong also knew that Chen Cheng didn't really like her.

But she didn't have the guts to confront Chen Cheng the way she did with Yu Chuhui.

Mainly because Chen Cheng didn't come back often, and they didn't have much interaction.

Ye Zhenzhen, having come out of her room after changing, looked at He Minhong's pitiful figure.

She walked up to Chen Cheng, glanced at room 2202, and turned her head to look at him.

Chen Cheng was somewhat speechless, but he didn't really care and shrugged, indicating she could do as she pleased.

Ye Zhenzhen gave him a charming, coquettish roll of her eyes. "Look at you~"

She turned and walked into 2202, shouting towards He Minhong's room, "Hong Hong, we're going to Chen Cheng's new house for a housewarming party. Do you want to come play?"

He Minhong had just walked into her room and paused, muttering, "Housewarming?"

After thinking about it, she turned back and declined Ye Zhenzhen, "You guys go ahead; I don't really want to move today."

Ye Zhenzhen's mouth twitched, while Chen Cheng stood behind watching the show, a wicked grin on his face.

It wasn't the first time she had been rebuffed by He Minhong.

Ye Zhenzhen smiled awkwardly, "Alright then."

She turned back to look at the smiling Chen Cheng and glared at him indignantly, "Don't laugh!"

The two stood in the hallway for a while until Zhu Zhe came out.

Ye Zhenzhen was wearing a brown down jacket over a matching cardigan sweater, paired with wide-leg jeans.

It didn't look very fashionable, but it looked warm.

Zhu Zhe was dressed similarly, in a black cotton jacket paired with a white hoodie, and wide-leg jeans on the bottom.

"Gigi, this hoodie of yours looks so good."

Seeing Zhu Zhe come out, Ye Zhenzhen walked over with a grin, not bothering with that ugly man anymore.

"Really?"

Zhu Zhe raised an eyebrow, clearly not believing her.

She wore a uniform most of the time, and dressed very casually otherwise, not putting much thought into her outfits.

Her clothes were all bought randomly online.

Ye Zhenzhen raised her chin proudly, "Of course."

The two chatted for a few moments, and the slowest one finally came out of her room.

Lucy wouldn't go out without putting on makeup.

Lucy was wearing a caramel-colored coat over a white knitted set.

The coat had a unique, asymmetrical cut.

The simple color contrast made it look both classic and tasteful.

Seeing Lucy walk over, Chen Cheng bent his arms, waiting to have one on each side.

"Everyone's ready, let's go."

The three women exchanged glances, and none of them went to take Chen Cheng's arm.

Zhu Zhe took the opportunity to take Ye Zhenzhen's arm and head towards the elevator, leaving Chen Cheng for Lucy.

"I'm going with Zhen Zhen."

Lucy blushed instantly, hurried to catch up, and blurted out, "I'm going with Zhen Zhen too."

Leaving Chen Cheng standing there in disarray, looking at the three of them at the elevator, he sighed heavily, "Three women, indeed, make a drama."

Seeing him rebuffed, the three women smiled, unable to contain their amusement, and Lucy's dimples showed as she laughed.

Once in the elevator, Lucy looked at Chen Cheng standing in front of the three of them, blinking her eyes.

She pursed her lips, then slipped forward, standing beside Chen Cheng, and naturally took his arm.

The two women behind exchanged glances, and a wicked smile appeared on Ye Zhenzhen's face, "Gigi, what should we do with someone who betrays sisterhood?"

As she spoke, both of them looked simultaneously at the soft flesh around Lucy's waist.

"Ah~ Hahaha~~"

"It tickles~ It tickles~~ ticklish~"

Lucy immediately raised her hands in surrender, "I surrender, I surrender, okay?"

The group went downstairs just like that, laughing and playing.

Chen Cheng drove Ye Zhenzhen's M8.

But he was just a pure, resentful driver.

The three women squeezed into the back seat to chat, and not one of them sat in the passenger seat.

Chen Cheng turned on the music to entertain himself.

"Sugar~ Daddy~"

Not long after, they arrived at Huaihai Road.

Just as Chen Cheng was about to turn into the alley, he saw two figures walking on the sidewalk.

Chen Cheng recognized them at a glance as Lin Miaomiao and Deng Xiaoqi.

There was no helping it; Lin Miaomiao's short-haired boyish look, combined with Deng Xiaoqi's long legs, was just too recognizable.

Chen Cheng pulled the car over to the side of the road.

"Why did you stop?" Ye Zhenzhen asked, looking a bit confused.

Chen Cheng looked back at the three women, "Ran into two little friends."

Then he rolled down the window and called out, "Lin Miaomiao~"

Lin Miaomiao immediately reacted, looking left and right to find out who was calling her.

Watching Lin Miaomiao's movements, Chen Cheng couldn't stop the smile from spreading across his face; high school Lin Miaomiao was just too amusing.

Chen Cheng raised his hand and honked the horn.

Hearing the horn, Deng Xiaoqi reacted first, looked toward the sound, and saw Chen Cheng sitting in the driver's seat waving at them.

Deng Xiaoqi's eyes lit up; she tugged on Lin Miaomiao's sleeve and tilted her chin toward Chen Cheng's direction, "It's Brother Cheng."

"Brother Cheng? Where? Where?"

Lin Miaomiao was still looking around like a headless chicken.

Deng Xiaoqi's mouth twitched. She checked that there were no cars on the road, then grabbed Lin Miaomiao and crossed the street, walking toward Chen Cheng.

Only then did Lin Miaomiao see Chen Cheng sitting in the car; her eyes lit up, and she muttered, "We're going to have something good to eat today."

The three women in the back seat also saw the two people walking over, and Ye Zhenzhen stared at Deng Xiaoqi for a long time.

She asked Chen Cheng indignantly, "Is this another one of your little girlfriends?"

Chen Cheng widened his eyes and turned back to look at the three of them, only to see Lucy and Zhu Zhe also looking at him with scrutinizing expressions.

Chen Cheng raised an eyebrow, "What are you thinking? These are two students, and high school students at that!"

"High school students?"

The three women immediately widened their eyes and turned to look back at Deng Xiaoqi who was walking toward them.

With big wavy hair and wearing a red scarf, and you're telling me that's a high school student?

Chen Cheng curled his lips speechlessly, "Ask her yourself in a bit."

[Slacked off for a week, no drafts left, crying noises~]
