After the meal, Chen Cheng was 'punished' to clean up the table.

"Gigi is still the best to me," Chen Cheng remarked, looking at Zhu Zhe who was helping him clear the dishes.

"Brother Cheng, am I not good to you?"

Before Sister Zhu could speak, Guan Juer, who was also helping, chimed in, looking at Chen Cheng with her chin raised in a playful, haughty manner.

Seeing her adorable and naive look, Chen Cheng’s lips curved upward, "You are~"

He lowered his head and kissed her on the cheek, "My Guan Guan is the best."

Seeing the two of them acting so childish, Zhu Zhe smiled and shook her head.

The three of them worked together to take the dishes into the kitchen and put them into the dishwasher.

There were many people today, so it didn't all fit in one go.

Zhu Zhe naturally stood in front of the kitchen sink, ready to work.

Guan Juer stood by to help, one rinsing and applying detergent, the other rinsing with clean water.

"Let me do it~" Chen Cheng smiled and snatched the dishcloth from Guan Juer's hand.

Guan Juer and Zhu Zhe exchanged a glance, shrugged, and smiles appeared on their lips.

While washing the dishes, Chen Cheng smiled and said, "If you have something to say, just say it."

Zhu Zhe had been looking preoccupied all day; how could Chen Cheng not guess that she had something to tell him?

"Ahem~" A smile appeared on the corner of Zhu Zhe's mouth as she helplessly shook her head. After spending so much time together, she had long since learned about this bad man's intelligence.

Zhu Zhe smacked her lips and said, "Do I really have to go to Montreux?"

"Didn't we already decide on that?" Chen Cheng was stunned for a moment; this was something Zhu Zhe had already agreed to.

"Phew~" Zhu Zhe exhaled softly, "I’ve calculated it. If I go, it will take at least two, maybe even three years."

"By the time I come back, I'll be thirty-six."

Zhu Zhe hadn't thought about this problem before, but after calculating carefully, she suddenly realized that she was getting a bit old.

Hearing this, Chen Cheng was amused and smiled, "Is that all?"

"Mm~" Zhu Zhe nodded gently.

"Most people who struggle with issues like further studies or time costs do so because of the cost-effectiveness. That is, whether they can find a better job upon returning to cover the economic and time costs of the further studies."

"But... does our family need to consider that?"

Zhu Zhe looked at Chen Cheng and shook her head slightly, "No..." She hesitated.

"I..."

Actually, what she was struggling with was that when she returned, she would be thirty-five or thirty-six, and then she would get pregnant.

By the time the child was born, she might be nearly forty.

By the time the child hadn't graduated from elementary school, she would already be fifty.

When the child hadn't graduated from university, she would be ready to retire.

Just thinking about it made Zhu Zhe feel a bit terrified.

That would be a truly advanced maternal age.

At this moment, Lucy walked in, looked at Chen Cheng, then at Zhu Zhe, her lips curving into dimples, "Actually... Sister Zhu wants to have a baby."

As soon as these words were spoken, Zhu Zhe blushed immediately, looking at Lucy, then nervously at Chen Cheng.

Hmm...

Chen Cheng pondered for two seconds and immediately understood Zhu Zhe's thoughts.

Zhu Zhe wanted to take advantage of the time studying abroad to solve the child issue as well.

If she couldn't take care of it herself, she could just hire two nannies.

Wasn't Anna a ready-made example?

Two nannies, one assistant, and a security team of nearly ten people.

Even with half that configuration... oh no, she only needed one maternity matron, it was impossible that she couldn't balance her studies.

Chen Cheng felt a bit helpless; there was a bad atmosphere in the house right now.

Everyone kept thinking about having children.

Uh... it didn't seem like there was anything wrong with that, though.

After all, it was about doing something happy.

Chen Cheng thought for a moment and slowly persuaded, "Although you have worked for so many years and never gave up learning, crossing from a vocational school to an MSC (Master of Science in International Hospitality Management) requires catching up on a lot of courses. You will be very, very tired."

Zhu Zhe shook her head firmly, "I have been working outside since I was sixteen. I have tasted all the hardships, and the thing I fear the least is being tired."

Since she had said so, Chen Cheng could only sigh, "Alright."

"You agreed?" Zhu Zhe's eyelashes curved, and a different kind of radiance appeared in her eyes.

"What else could I do?" Chen Cheng shrugged and asked with a smile.

"However, for this kind of thing, can we just let it happen naturally?"

"No," Zhu Zhe shook her head, "Lucy, help me wash the dishes."

"Hey, okay~"

"Hey~~ Hey~~~ What's the rush?" Chen Cheng hadn't even washed the detergent foam off his hands before being pulled away by Zhu Zhe.

Watching their backs disappear into the stairwell, Lucy turned back and glanced at the troubled Guan Juer.

"Do you have something to tell him?"

"Ah?" Guan Juer finally came back to her senses and nodded, "Mm~"

"It's about your roommate Little Qiu, right?"

Guan Juer's pupils contracted, and she looked at Lucy with bright eyes, "How did Sister Lucy know?"

Lucy didn't turn her head to look at her, continuing to wash the dishes, "Actually, you don't need to say anything to him."

"It hasn't been dealt with, it's just because there hasn't been time, haven't found the opportunity."

"It's their own business, don't get involved in the middle."

"But..." Guan Juer hesitated.

"Hmm?" Lucy paused and asked tentatively, "It's not that Little Qiu is dating someone else, is it?"

"No~ No~" Guan Juer shook her head quickly to deny it.

"Then what's going on?" Lucy asked suspiciously.

Guan Juer thought for a moment and still said it, "It's just that recently there's a fellow townsman who often goes to see her."

"Pfft~ Hahahaha~" Lucy laughed out loud, glancing upstairs.

"This bad man has his days too."

Guan Juer quickly waved her hand, "No, Little Qiu didn't cheat."

Lucy giggled, "I guess she doesn't have the guts."

Saying that, Lucy thought for a moment, "However, he is so smart, if Little Qiu stops taking the initiative to send messages, he probably knows what's going on in his heart."

"Didn't he cut her allowance earlier?"

"Little Qiu still hasn't reacted, which shows she has already thought about ending this relationship."

Saying that, a smile appeared on the corner of Lucy's mouth, "In this day and age, to not be swayed by material desires, Little Qiu is indeed a remarkable person."

"..."

"I will tell him about this, you don't worry about it, lest you get caught in the middle and suffer."

"Ah?" Lucy taking the initiative to take on the matter surprised Guan Juer a little.

Lucy nodded to confirm, "Yes, you don't get involved in this. If you get involved, and she has a bad life or is unhappy in the future, she might turn around and blame you."

"Let me do it." Lucy smiled, "After all, I don't know her."
