Chen Cheng was busy until late at night.

The two lay side by side, panting heavily, Lucy staring at the ceiling with slightly unfocused eyes.

She could already feel herself falling deeper and deeper, starting to become increasingly addicted to that full sensation.

Chen Cheng spoke quietly, "Why don't you move in here? It's close to the Financial District."

Scum Cheng was already thinking about splitting up the residents of Ode to Joy.

Eight out of ten women were involved with him; the fact that things hadn't exploded yet was nothing short of a miracle.

Scum Cheng didn't dare to delay even for a day.

Fortunately, there was one sensible one; Fan Shengmei had been looking at apartments for the past couple of days and was preparing to move out.

She had truly had enough of living in that partitioned room in the living room.

Lucy raised an eyebrow, sat up, and lay on his chest, shaking her head adorably. "No, I don't want the others on the 22nd floor to know about us."

Chen Cheng's lips curled up slightly. "Xiao Yu already knows."

"What?" Lucy's eyes widened.

Chen Cheng nodded. "What did you two talk about this morning? I was at home looking at the stock market in the morning when she sent me a message asking if there was something going on between us."

"You admitted it?" Lucy's mouth hung open in disbelief.

Chen Cheng shrugged. "Of course. Am I the kind of person who dares to do things but doesn't dare to admit them?"

"You!" Lucy was choked with anger. She took a breath and complained, "Couldn't you have just pretended not to admit it and brushed it off?"

Watching her puffed-up appearance, Chen Cheng's lips curled up. He gently stroked her cheek with his fingers and coaxed her softly:

"I wanted to, but I felt like that would be unfair to you."

"You've already suffered enough being with me. If people figured it out and I still refused to admit it, that would be even more unfair to you."

Lucy was furious, but looking at Chen Cheng's handsome face, she felt a bit helpless.

She huffed, "I must have been bewitched by you to be with you in such an ambiguous way."

Chen Cheng had a wicked smile on his lips. "That's not true, I just poured quite a bit more into you earlier."

"You're dead meat!" Lucy immediately sat up straight, her face blushing, and pinched him hard.

"Giggle, giggle~ Hahahaha~" Chen Cheng laughed out loud. Embarrassed, Lucy picked up a pillow and hit him.

"I'll teach you to laugh!"

"I'll teach you to laugh~"

Chen Cheng didn't show any intention of begging for mercy, letting her hit him.

After a while, seeing that she was running out of strength, he pulled her back into his arms.

Lucy gasped for air, her pretty face flushed, and she asked, "What if I get pregnant?"

"I haven't thought about having children yet."

After saying this, she stared into Chen Cheng's eyes with a hint of hope.

Chen Cheng raised an eyebrow and thought seriously. He really hadn't considered this issue in the last two years.

Having not succeeded once in so many years, he had doubted himself.

But the test results showed no problems, and the doctor said his sperm had high motility.

After Chen Cheng obtained the system, he confirmed the reason.

It was simply because his body, modified by the system, was too strong, which was why he had never had a successful match.

"If you get pregnant, we'll have it. Then we'll raise it together and give her the best of everything."

Lucy looked at his dreamy expression, and a wave of sweetness washed over her heart.

Scum Cheng didn't say he didn't want children, nor did he thoughtlessly brush it off with phrases like 'Have it, I can afford to raise it.'

Chen Cheng looked down at her. "What's wrong? Do you want to have children?"

Lucy immediately shook her head like a rattle. "No, I'm still a child myself. What kind of child would I have?"

Chen Cheng glanced at her. She said she didn't want to, but she couldn't hide her maternal smile.

She must have already been fantasizing about being a mother.

Chen Cheng turned over, looking down at her, and issued a matching invitation. "Come on, let's work hard."

Lucy crossed her hands almost instinctively. "No way!"

Her face was as red as an apple. "No, I have to go to work tomorrow."

Chen Cheng was slightly disappointed. He lay back down, then turned his head to look at her. "But what if he wants to?"

Lucy's gaze drifted down, her pupils dilated. Again?

She looked back at Chen Cheng, unable to bring herself to refuse. She blinked and said softly, blushing, "How about... I help you?"

Chen Cheng raised an eyebrow, instantly perking up with a wicked smile. "How will you help?"

Lucy tucked her hair behind her ear to hide her embarrassment. "Ahem~ you know... I saw in movies that you can do it like that..."

Chen Cheng looked at her in disbelief and asked softly, "Are you sure you can?"

Lucy pursed her lips, paused, and said, "I'll try."

...

Just two words.

Green/Inexperienced~

I'll buy her some bananas another day.

The next day.

Lucy went to work, and Chen Cheng also went to the office.

Today, Gao Yue arranged interviews.

For a secretary and a Private Lawyer.

Chen Cheng walked into the office, and Gao Yue knocked and entered, carrying coffee.

She handed the coffee to Chen Cheng. "Chairman Chen, all the candidates have arrived. They are in Conference Room 2. Would you like to interview them individually or all together?"

"Thank you." Chen Cheng took the coffee and thought for a moment. "Let's do it together."

Gao Yue nodded. "Yes, I've sent them to your email. For the Chairman's secretary, I've screened a total of five candidates, and for the Private Lawyer, there are two candidates."

As Gao Yue introduced them, she took the mouse from Chen Cheng and clicked on the internal email.

Chen Cheng looked at the list of candidates, his eyes lighting up.

Gao Yue really understood his taste; they were all beauties.

If the scale was ten, in terms of looks, none of them were below an 8.

Uh...

What's going on with these three?

Chen Cheng raised an eyebrow, lifted his hand to check his watch. "What time are they scheduled for?"

"Ten o'clock."

"Then it's about time, let's go." He pointed to the tablet on the table. "Help me take the tablet."

Gao Yue smiled and nodded. "Very well, Chairman Chen."

Chen Cheng stood up and adjusted his clothes.

Today, he was rarely wearing a suit.

For business meetings, he would still put away his inherent recklessness and youthful arrogance.

But it wasn't overly formal either.

Black suit pants, black leather shoes, a white shirt, and a black tie. As for his jacket, he had thrown it onto the sofa as soon as he entered the office, and his shirt sleeves were rolled up to his forearms.

Gao Yue led Chen Cheng into Conference Room 3, and Chen Cheng's lips curled up slightly.

Because there were at least three familiar faces.

He casually found a seat in the middle of the long table in the conference room.

The candidates sitting in a row opposite him immediately sat up straight when they saw him enter, except for Qin Shi, who was sitting at the very end and winked at Chen Cheng.

Chen Cheng nodded at her slightly.

Gao Yue placed Chen Cheng's tablet at an appropriate angle in front of him. "Chairman Chen, shall we begin?"

Chen Cheng nodded, but his eyes were always scanning in Qin Shi's direction.

Qin Shi thought Chen Cheng was looking at her; she smiled like a flower, winking back from time to time.

Gao Yue cleared her throat and nodded at the candidate on the far left. "Let's start with Candidate No. 1. Please give a brief self-introduction."

"Hello, interviewers..."

Actually, when Chen Cheng saw the list of candidates earlier, he already had a choice for the secretary position.

"Interviewers, I am today's Candidate No. 3, Li Na..."

Chen Cheng's mouth was almost blooming with a smile; he hadn't expected Gao Yue to be able to find this ceiling-level secretary.

After Li Na finished her self-introduction, Chen Cheng raised an eyebrow and asked with a smile, "You seem very confident. Can you tell me the source of your confidence?"

Li Na's eyes widened, a smile hanging on her lips, very firm. "Because I am Li Na."
